After your child receives and reads this book, Discuss one or more of the following questions to help him/her make connections and build comprehension.

• The little dinosaur and her grandfather are playing tag. What are the games you like to play? Make a list. Share your list with a parent.
• The other dinosaurs were afraid of the biggest dinosaur. Who in another story is afraid of someone bigger? How are they like the smaller dinosaurs? How are they different? Talk about it with a parent.
• The little dinosaur isn't afraid of the biggest dinosaur. She knows she is safe. That her grandfather will treat her kindly and lovingly. Why is this important? Talk about it with a parent.
• Pretend that the little dinosaur tries to scare her grandfather. What will his reaction be? Draw a picture of that. Share your picture with a parent.
