  • The lion is big. The mouse is small. Are you more like the lion? Or the mouse? Talk about it with a parent.
  • The lion is kind. He lets the mouse go. Think of another story where someone is kind. How are they like the lion. How are they different? Talk about it with a parent.
  • On the last page of the book it says, "Always help others." Why? Talk about it with a parent.
  • What happens next? Do the lion and mouse stay friends? Make up the story. Tell it to a parent.
