After your child receives and reads this book, Discuss one or more of the following questions to help him/her make connections and build comprehension.

• All the girls in this book are happy. They are doing things they love doing. What do you love to do? What makes you smile the most? When you are doing that, do you feel beautiful? Talk about it with a parent.
• Pick one of the girls in this book. What is she doing? Who else, in another story does the same thing? Compare the two. How are they alike? How are they different? Share your thoughts with a parent.
• The book suggests, "Spend time with beautiful people." What makes a person beautiful? Talk about this with a parent.
• The book says that beautiful girls deserve compliments. Why do people like to be complimented? How does it make them feel? Pick five different people. Give each of them a compliment today!
