• Mr. Bear is big and brown. What else can you name that is big and brown? Talk about it with a parent.
• Big Bear is working. What other character in another story has work to do? How are they like Bear? How are they different? Talk about it with a parent.
• Little Bear is the one that caused the blue paint to spill. Should she have helped clean up that mess? Why? Talk about it with a parent.
• When Little Bear runs her bike into the ladder the paint spills a second time. Pretend you are Little Bear. Write an apology to Big Bear for causing the messes. Share your note with a parent.
