• Are you more like Fern, Wilbur, or Charlotte? Use a Venn diagram and list 5 ways you are like this character and 5 ways you are different.
• Charlotte is a wonderful friend to Wilbur. Write a story where a good friend saves someone's life.
• Pick one character in Charlotte's Web (it can be Fern, Wilbur or Charlotte), and compare them to a character in another story. Find 5 ways they are alike and 5 ways they are different.
• Friends do nice things for each other, but not all friends are the same. Pick two people you know and compare your relationship with them to the relationships Wilbur has with both Charlotte and Templeton. Write about it or draw pictures to illustrate how those friends are different.
