Danny and the Dinosaur

Danny goes to the museum and meets the dinosaur. Write a story about a time when you met someone new and spent the day with him or her.
Danny finds a new friend, who is very different, and very unusual. What is another story where someone finds a friend who is different or unusual? Using the Venn diagram, or draw one on the back, list five ways the stories are the same and five ways they are different.
Even though the dinosaur is different and strange, all the people and children love him. Talk with a parent or adult friend about how this is the same or different from how many adults treat other people who may seem different or strange.
Pretend you are Danny. Teach the dinosaur something you can do well. Write about how you would do this and how it all turned out.
