  • Pretend you could suddenly become an animal. Which animal would it be? Why did you choose that one? Talk about it with a parent.
  • Maude doesn't want to be at the doctors. What other character in another story, doesn't want to be where they are. How are they like Maude? How are they different? Talk about it with a parent.
  • People used to get diseases we no longer hear about. Thousands of children and adults died from these diseases. Vaccines keep us from getting those diseases. Why might some people be afraid of vaccinations? Make a list. Talk about it with a parent.
  • Write a thank-you note to your doctor. Tell them you like their taking care of you!
