After your child receives and reads this book, Discuss one or more of the following questions to help him/her make connections and build comprehension.

• What kind of truck would you like to drive? What kind of job would it do? Why would this job be satisfying? Talk about it with a parent.
• Make two lists. List five reasons it would be fun to drive a big truck. List five reasons why it would be scary. Share your lists with a parent.
• Big trucks make big jobs easier. With the help of a parent make a list of the big trucks in your neighborhood and the big jobs they help to complete.
• Create a new dictionary. List each word from this book that was new to you. Put its definition next to the word. Ask a parent or a friend to quiz you on the words and definitions. See how many you can get right!
