What was your favorite pink animal? Why? List five reasons. What was your least favorite pink animal? Why? List five reasons. Share your lists with a parent.
In most animals, their color helps protect them. Make a list of five animals. Tell how their color helps protect them.
All the animals in this book have predators and threats. Pick a predator or a threat, and list the animals that are impacted by that predator or threat. Make a list of what those pink animals have in common, and what could be done to help those animals. Talk about it with a parent.
Using the glossary at the back of the book, choose five attributes for the pink animals, combine them, and create your own pretend pink animal. Draw it, and write a description about it. What it does, where it lives and what it eats.
