  • Stink thought Shakespeare camp would be awful, but he had a good time. When have you thought something might not be fun, but it turned out to be great? Write about it. Share your story with a parent.
  • Actors pretend to be someone different. Think of another story where someone pretends to be someone they are not. Use a Venn diagram. How are they like the actors in this book? How are they different? Share your diagram with a parent.
  • Stink and Sophie like their teacher, Amanda Beth. Is it necessary for students to like their teachers? Why, or why not? Talk about it with a parent.
  • At the end of Chapter 4 there are three columns of words that can be put together to form insults! Practice using them with your friends!
