• When has someone asked you for something, and at first you didn't want to share? Write that story. Share your story with a parent.
• All the animals worked together to make the stew. Think of another story where everyone worked together. How is that story like this one? How is it different? Talk about it with a parent.
• Rabbit tricked all the animals. However, everyone had a wonderful meal. Was this a good thing? Or was it bad? Talk about it with a parent.
• This is a very old story. In other versions it uses stones or nails instead of tumbleweeds. With a parent's help, make some tumbleweed stew (without the tumbleweed!). Enjoy!
