• There are two squirrels in this book. They eat nuts. Ask a parent for help. What kind of nuts are they eating? What kind of tree do they grow on?
• The big squirrel stores the nuts in his mouth. Do squirrels ever really do that? Ask a parent for help. Research how they collect their nuts.
• How many spoons are in your kitchen? Count them!
