Dear Kids Read Now Supporters and Partners,

I hope you are well, enjoying the summer, and getting some great books read, just as the students we support do. I am writing to share news about a leadership transition at Kids Read Now. At the end of July, I will transition out of my position as CEO, effective July 31st, 2026. It has been an honor to serve this organization and our students by helping to stop learning loss during out-of-school time by building home libraries and supporting caregivers in reading with their children. Over the last two years, together we have served more than 335,000 children, mailed more than 1.4 million books home, launched a new application with audio and digital books (KRN2GO), created educator professional development, and are offering monthly family reading webinars. It has been a busy two years, and I am proud of the work we have accomplished together.

Kids Read Now is in great hands with a strong board, a talented staff, and new leadership under Noah Reandeau. On August 1st, Noah Reandeau will take the reins as our next CEO, having served as our government affairs liaison for the past 5 years through his organization, Model Solutions. Noah has been recognized by the Business Examiner's "40 Under Forty" for his contributions to government and is passionate about children's well-being and investing in youth worldwide. Nationally trusted as a "go-to" resource for government policy, Noah has designed and managed the implementation of comprehensive federal, state, and municipal government relations and marketing programs for leading clients across nearly every major industry. He brings tremendous leadership skills, deep knowledge of the organization, and strong plans.
I have appreciated working with this learning community and with a research-backed solution to stop the summer learning slide. To learn more about Kids Read Now or to donate to support our mission, you can visit our website at kidsreadnow.org.

Sincerely,

Kristen Walter
