A to Z Mysteries: The Canary Caper

The three friends, Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose, are very different people. Pick one character. Use a Venn diagram and compare that character to you. Find five ways you are alike and five ways you are different.
Think of another mystery book you've read. How is this one the same or different? Using a Venn diagram, list five ways they are similar and five ways they are different.
Ruth Rose is very concerned about the safety of her cat, Tiger. Her love for Tiger makes her want to find who has taken the pets and maybe robbed the homes. Who do you know that has shown determination like this? How has it changed your family, class or school? Write a story about it.
Re-write your favorite chapter of the story as if it is a comic strip. Draw the pictures. Insert the dialog in word bubbles. Make sure the characters have expressions on their faces!
