Look at all the homes in this book. Which one is your favorite? Why? Do you want to live in that home? Discuss it with a parent.
Have a parent help you. What kinds of animals would live in a barn? Make a list. See how many you can come up with.
All homes are built with weather in mind. Some houses have to keep people warm. Others need to let breezes blow through them. Some need to keep rain out. Some need to keep sun out. With a parent’s help, look at pictures of homes from all over the world. See if you can guess what kind of weather they have there!
Think of one fairy-tale witch. Draw a picture of her house. Share it with a parent.
