Discovery Questions

  • Maddrell chirps when she wants to play. How do you tell your family that you want to play? Talk about it.
  • Moving things makes Irina angry. What makes your friends angry? How are they like Irina? How are they different? Talk about it.
  • Cats have many of the same feelings you do. How would you tell family and friends your needs if you couldn't use words? Act out a need and see if a family member can guess what you are “saying”.
  • Cats love to play. Can you design a toy for a cat? Would it have a feather or a ball? Maybe a piece of string? Draw a picture of your invented cat toy. Could you share it with a friend?
