Pig loves pancakes. What is your favorite food? When was the last time you ate it? Talk about why it is your favorite food with a parent.
Think of another story that has a pig. Use a Venn diagram. How is that pig like this pig? Find five ways they are alike. Then find five ways they are different.
The pig makes a lot of messes in this book. The little girl tries to clean them up. The pig just moves onto another activity. Why should you clean up your own messes? Is it responsible to clean up after yourself? Talk about it with a parent.
With the help of a parent, make pancakes. Enjoy eating them!
