The caterpillar changes. It becomes a beautiful butterfly. Think of another story. In that story who changes? How do they change? How are they like the caterpillar? How are they different? Talk about it with a parent.
Caterpillars are born in shells. Other animals are born in shells too. Have a parent help you. Make a list of those other animals.
Invent a caterpillar. Draw a picture of your caterpillar. It changes into a butterfly. Draw the picture of that butterfly. Share your pictures with a parent.
