- Do you have a stuffed animal or blanket you like to hug? Have you ever lost it? What happened? Write the story and draw pictures.
- Do you know another story where a child or animal goes on a walk or takes a trip? List five ways that story is the same and five ways that story is different. Use the Venn diagram, or draw your own on the back,
- Look at the pictures. What is interesting about them? How is where Trixie lives different than where you live? Tell a story as if you lived in the city where Trixie lives.
- Make up a story about a child and their stuffed animal. Share it with a parent or adult friend.
