Logan did not give up looking for his carrots. When could you not find something? Did you give up? If you found it, were you surprised? Talk about it.
Logan was having a pet playdate with his friends. Think of another story you have read. What other character has a playdate or a party with their friends? How is their playdate like Logan’s? How is it different?
Eating fresh vegetables is very good for you. What are some of your favorite healthy foods? Why is it important to eat fresh fruits and vegetables? How do you think they help fuel our bodies? Can you help make a healthy snack at home?
There is a recipe for carrot soup at the back of the book. Have a parent help you. Make it and see if you like carrot soup, too!
