- Look at the pictures on pages six and seven. Which type of pumpkin is your favorite? Why? What could you do with it? Talk about it with a parent.
- Pumpkins contain seeds. Some people roast and eat them. What other foods contain seeds that people eat? Make a list of them. See if a parent can help add to your list!
- With the help of a parent research pumpkins. Are they a fruit or a vegetable? Where can they be grown? How long do they take to grow?
- With the help of a parent find a recipe that uses pumpkin. It could be pie, cake, soup, bread, cookies, and even dog treats! Have an adult help you make this!
