Officer Buckle stopped doing his safety speeches. He thought they made him look foolish. When was a time you felt foolish? What made you feel foolish? Write about it.
Pets can be wonderful friends. Sometimes they can be good teachers, too. Think of the other animal books you have read. What other animal acts as a teacher to another character? How are that animal and Gloria alike, and how are they different?
