- The caterpillar changes as it grows up. How have you changed since you were born? Make a list. Talk about it with a parent.
- The caterpillar has strong jaws for chewing. Can you list ten other animals that have strong jaws for chewing?
- Monarch butterflies fly to Mexico in the winter when it gets cold. This is called migration. What other animals migrate to escape the cold? Research this with a parent. Make a list. Include where the animals are during the winter and during the summer!
- Plant some special flowers to help feed the butterflies! Draw pictures of the butterflies as they come to feed on the nectar of the flowers!
