The lion brags that he is king of the jungle. He is powerful and will never need the help of a tiny mouse. What other character in another story thinks they will never need help? Use a Venn diagram. Compare that character to the lion. Share your diagram with a parent.
Being kind to others is important. The lion showed kindness. He let the mouse go. The mouse helped the lion. Discuss with an adult how helping others makes a difference.
Do the mouse and the lion stay friends? What could their next adventure together be? Write it down. Don’t forget to draw and color the pictures. Share it with a parent.
