The little boy and his teddy bear were always together. When the little boy went to sleep every night, his teddy bear was beside him. When the little boy went on a trip, his teddy bear went too?until one terrible day when the teddy bear was left behind . . . Will he ever see his bear again?

The boy loved the bear. What do you love? Write a story about it. Share your story with others.
When the boy gave the bear to the bearded man, he did a very kind thing. Do you know of other stories where people are kind to each other? How are they like the boy? How are they different? Talk about it.
Why did the boy give the bear to the bearded man? Was it a good thing to do? Or a not-so-good thing to do?
Many children are in need of a friend like the Teddy Bear. Do you have extra toys you don’t need and could give to others? Or could you make a picture to share with someone to cheer them up? Talk to your adult and see if there is a way to help people in your community.
