Discovery Questions

  • The wolf wants to borrow a cup of sugar. When have you borrowed something? Did you remember to give it back. Write a story about what you borrowed. Share your story with a parent.
  • The pigs do not agree on how to build a house. Think of another story with siblings. Do they get along? Do they disagree about something? List five ways they are like the little pigs. List five ways they are different.
  • Every story has more than one perspective, or side. This book tells the wolf’s side of the story. Why is it important to hear both sides? What can be learned by listening to others? Talk about it with a parent.
  • With a parent’s help bake a cake. Find a recipe. Gather the ingredients. When it is finished, share it with your family and friends!
