Discovery Questions

After your child receives and reads this book, Discuss one or more of the following questions to help him/her make connections and build comprehension.

• Batman saw the Penguin's machine. He was able to help the city. When have you been able to help someone? Talk about it with a parent.
• The friends work together. They protect the city. Think of another story. Who else works together? What problems do they fix? How are they like the super friends? How are they different? Talk about it with a parent.
• It took all five of the friends to fix the problem. Why is having friends important? Talk about it with a parent.
• Invent a new super hero. What can he or she do? What do they look like? Write a story about them. Draw and color the pictures.
