Stacey Montgomery is the creator of an innovative social emotional learning program for elementary schools called “Why Is Different Awesome?” The program encourages children to embrace their own unique qualities and to accept differences in others.
The overall goal is to build inclusive school communities. Stacey is also the author of a series of self-confidence building guided journals for kids and is the director of the My Super Powers! Foundation.
Originally from the East Coast, Stacey now lives in Aurora, IL with her husband and son in a home that is full of joy and laughter. Stacey is a graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York.
