After your child receives and reads this book, Discuss one or more of the following questions to help him/her make connections and build comprehension.

• The sun gives us sunshine and warmth. What else does it do? With the help of a parent make a list.
• With the help of a parent find out how a sprout becomes a large plant.
• Trees provide food for lots of living things. With the help of a parent make a list of 5 creatures that receive food from trees.
• Draw a picture of the sun, the tree, flower, and all the other animals in this book. Share your picture with a parent!
